Chinese New Year Post

Well, it's the 3rd day since the start of Chinese New Year, and since I don't have any events for myself today... (Boohoo...) Here are some of the highlights for day 1&2:

Day 1:
Well, going over to my paternal relative's home wasn't much fun to begin with, given that I only go there once a year... and to know that there will be nothing to do sure sucks the festivities outta me right from the get-go... Though I got to admit that I was slightly intrigued by cousin's conversation with my dad...
Going over to my mum's friend's home, well, was at least something I looked forward to, since I always liked talking to her son, who is a rather patient listener to both my bro and I (Though I got to admit that I do talk too much for him to appreciate...)
Heading over to my maternal relatives, was both filled with excitement and a lackluster sense of worry... You see, I don't get along rather well with my maternal younger cousin, given that I'm quite abrasive towards people who provoke me, and sure enough, he started doing that. I don't want to always play the bad cop to my bro, the nice detective, but man, that cousin of mine sure keeps making me do that... rather annoying, right??
Finally, the last stop was with my parents' friend home at night, and boy was it crowded!! Though honestly, the crowd was only interested in playing blackjack, so I kinda felt bored again, not that I could do much, given that my phone was nearly out of battery for me to fool around with... Though it was nice to catch up with a few friends and know how they are doing...

Day 2:
Day 2 was indeed rather boring, as I had to go to my maternal relatives' place again, since they had people coming over and well, given that they were related (Idk how... relationships are too complicated for me sometimes) we had to go over and say hi...
After that, My parents decided to go over to another friend's home before dropping to our final destination (no pun intended for horror fans), and well, at least there was a little something to do as they were talking something related to me.
The final stop was at another friend's home and this was seriously the weirdest part of day 2, since I ended up with 6 other teens in a room and they were all going bananas!! Sigh, sometimes being grouped with them sure makes me look like a kid, and I wonder why I never seem to look any older to the adults, who are always rambling non-stop about their issue or in this case, playing blackjack (Again...)

In a whole, 2 days of CNY only felt like a really long weekend to me... and with that, I gotta get back to my work, exams in 4 days' time!! Happy Chinese New Year!!
