I can't help but to agree...

It's no surprise when looking at Singaporeans today as we see their unrest popping up faster than the next man can shout "Goal!!!". (The world cup is around,so let's just soak in the spirit ok??)  And all for good reasoning too... In today, Singaporeans are really faced with one of the most retarded situations, and no, I don't mean about when is the next big Singapore Sale is going to happen, or for me, when the next booster for my vanguard is coming out, (IKR, everyone is waiting for the day anyways...) it's about the double standard that we are given, as well as the apparent lack in knowledge of our government to see that we are unhappy with them. I'm not surprised to say that most people will say that my knowledge is nothing. ( 19 years old to some old people is apparently "young"...) And that most people will just laugh their heads off to whatever I may say... I agree, while I'm not of age to really have a say in the future we wish to live in, but apparently, I'm old enough to deal and talk about political matters... And I say it's about time the government should really revise their policies and their views on many matters. That said, I guess my advice will fall on deaf ears to them, since they only want to hear the views of their "People", Namely, the PRs that they have brought in. You see, I'm not one to complain about having many different people from all over the world wishing to "live" in Singapore, since really, citizenship is really nothing as people now go all over the world to find the place that really suits them and conversion of citizenship is as usual as seeing a Seeker deck around any VG competition. But really, it is starting to bug me on how the Government is not responding to the atrocities of the PRs on the actual locals. It's is unfair to see that they are now punishing a man over the fact he skipped NS, and yet overlooking the behavior of their dear PRs ... It's clearly apparent in which that the government is not dealing with the PRs, and only dealing with the actual Singaporeans, and it is no surprise to say that we, the locally born Singaporeans, are ashamed of our government. I'm not saying I was never in favor of not having these PRs, but it is high time that the government should take a look at the way people are angry. Clearly, that was shown in the last election, where the current government has lost quite a few places to the opposition, and I'm not surprised that in the next elections, these numbers will remain or go up to show that the actual Singaporeans' disapprove of the current government. In fact, I'm not surprised if the current government get pushed out in favor of the opposition, and that all the true blue Singaporeans should use the next election as the path to achieve some political and social progress, that we should use our power to tell the government to wake up from their slumber and deal with today's disasters... And for all its crap talk, I'm honestly surprised to say that The Real Singapore (TRS) is really showing some light at the current issues, despite all its idiocies within it... And also, I can't believe the actual idiocies in which NS is progressively showing. For all it glory and promises, I now find myself at the crossroads to which is if I should do my NS with "pride" or slack all the way...  for the PES F guy has shown, that NS has started to show signs of retardation, in which many Singaporean males (myself included) have shown our lack in willingness to deal with... To me, NS is indeed a waste of time to many gamers as we have learnt to deal and use weapons in various warfare simulations today (COD, Halo, Battlefield, heck even Blackshot!!) and we have also learnt that its more on brains than on the physique for today's Modern Warfare... (COD puns much, people??) And that really, despite all the magnificence the government has claimed, Singapore is just not worth to attack, really... I agree, that while terrorism is a transnational crime and must be put to an end asap, Singapore isn't worth their attack, since mainly, all the terrorists gotta do is simply to stop our trade, and the government will wave a white flag at you... cause isn't trade and tourism our only rice bowls at hand?? Despite all I have said, NS is still relevant till this day, and that all we need is to make NS flexible, shorter and faster, for in today's modern warfare, its' not the strongest that survives, but the most flexible and smartest that does, and to sum it all up, really, I do not need 2 years to learn how to deal with my "wife", my dearest PM and Minster of Defense, all I need is about a day's course to do so, and with pictures in my smartphone galore, I can replicate all these in a matter of minutes and remember them for life!! Furthermore, NS isn't going to strengthen the bonds within Singaporeans. Au Contraire, it's weakening the very bonds by the moment, as people now split into 2 groups, the feverishly loyal chiongsters and the slackers who know that NS can be dealt with in many other ways, though there is a 3rd group, small as they seem, are the roots to show how NS is now retarding, People who are legally fit but get PES F. All in all, I think I have bored the heck outta all today, so adieu, my fellow people as I must resume doing my work and practicing my debating skills... and thanks for reading, as always...
